Senior Architect – Team Lead (Riyadh)

About the role

Our client, a leading architectural design consultancy in Riyadh, is looking for an experienced Senior Architect to lead a multidisciplinary team. The role involves overseeing projects from concept through construction documentation, ensuring design excellence and alignment with Saudi urban identity.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and manage a team of architects across all project phases.
• Develop and approve architectural designs from Concept to IFC documentation.
• Coordinate with structural, MEP, landscape and other disciplines to ensure seamless delivery.
• Ensure compliance with the Saudi Building Code, local authority regulations and quality standards.
• Integrate Saudi Architecture Characters and Urban Identity principles into designs.
• Manage project schedules, resources and deliverables to meet milestones.
• Participate in client meetings, presentations, workshops and technical reviews.
• Support BIM implementation and multidisciplinary coordination using Revit.
• Identify design risks and propose innovative solutions.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture.
• 8–15 years of professional experience in architectural design, preferably within a leading consultancy.
• Proven experience leading and managing architectural teams.
• Strong knowledge of the Saudi Building Code and local planning guidelines.
• Excellent communication, leadership and stakeholder management skills.
• Registration with the Saudi Council of Engineers is preferred.
