Senior Audit & Assurance Professional – Telecom (Riyadh)

About the role

Deloitte is seeking a Senior Audit & Assurance professional to join its Telecom practice in Riyadh. You will work with a diverse set of clients, helping them navigate regulatory requirements, risk management, and complex business processes while delivering high‑quality audit services.

Key responsibilities

• Build trust and credibility with stakeholders by understanding their service‑level expectations.
• Deliver audit services that reflect an awareness of regulatory impact and risk management on business processes.
• Gather and analyse key industry statistics and entity‑specific data before engagements begin.
• Adapt template referral instructions to clearly define audit scope and focus areas.
• Liaise with on‑shore and off‑shore Centres of Excellence, ensuring accurate and complete information exchange.
• Track deliverables from component auditors and link risks, controls, procedures and findings across the audit file.
• Articulate audit quality milestones and contribute to overall audit quality.
• Prepare documentation that anticipates reviewer questions and distinguishes accounting from auditing judgments.

Required profile

• Significant experience in audit and assurance, preferably within the telecom sector.
• Strong understanding of regulatory environments, risk management, and business processes.
• Ability to communicate effectively with both finance and non‑finance stakeholders.
• Proven track record of managing complex audit engagements and coordinating with multiple teams.
• Detail‑oriented mindset with a focus on delivering high‑quality work on schedule.
