Senior Business Development Expert – Telecom

About the role

The Senior Business Development Expert will drive growth for STC by cultivating high‑level relationships, identifying strategic opportunities, and shaping market demand across ICT and smart‑city initiatives in Saudi Arabia.

Key responsibilities

• Initiate and manage consultative sales activities within a selected industry vertical.
• Establish and nurture strategic business relationships with top‑level authorities in the Kingdom.
• Provide world‑class expertise to STC on ICT innovation domains.
• Liaise with ICT vendors to develop strategic partnerships.
• Identify, analyse, and pursue smart‑city and ICT/Digitisation market opportunities and emerging trends.
• Advise government and corporate clients to tailor STC bids to their needs.
• Qualify top governmental and corporate challenges and convert them into business opportunities.
• Detect market openings, mature leads and hand them over to Key Accounts.
• Collaborate across departments throughout the business development value chain until deal closure.
• Provide market feedback to develop new ICT/Digitisation concepts and value propositions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, IT, Engineering or a relevant field.
• At least 10 years of experience in business development, sales or customer‑service roles.
