Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic business development plans to achieve sales targets and market expansion in the logistics sector.
• Identify and build relationships with potential clients and partners to create growth opportunities.
• Conduct market research on trends, customer needs and the competitive landscape.
• Collaborate with the sales team to align business development strategy with overall sales objectives.
• Prepare and deliver presentations to stakeholders highlighting the company's value proposition.
• Negotiate and close agreements with clients.
• Monitor and report on business development performance metrics to senior management.
• Take part in industry events and networking to raise the company's visibility.

Required profile

• Proven background in sales or business development within the logistics industry.
• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing or a related field.
• Strong understanding of market trends and consumer behaviour in logistics.
• Exceptional communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
• Results-driven attitude with the ability to meet and exceed targets.
• Solid analytical and problem-solving skills.
