Senior Cargo Account Executive (Freight Forwarder Relations)

About the role

Qatar Airways Cargo is seeking a Senior Cargo Account Executive to lead relationships with its top freight forwarder accounts in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. You will develop and execute strategic plans that maximise revenue while minimising cost of sale, ensuring the airline derives maximum value from its agreements.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain long‑term strategic relationships with local and global freight forwarders and shippers.
• Prepare and implement account development plans for short, medium and long‑term benefits.
• Contribute to QR Cargo sales strategy to maximise revenue and reduce cost of sale.
• Prioritise high‑yield sales activities and drive profitability.
• Analyse sales data to identify tactical revenue opportunities.
• Manage projects and initiatives within the assigned area.
• Provide market intelligence and feedback on customers and competitors.
• Represent QR Cargo at trade events, promotions and sales functions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in cargo airline sales and negotiation.
• Strong understanding of cargo systems and ability to influence internal and external stakeholders.
• Excellent command of English.
