Senior Clinical Specialist

About the role

The Senior Clinical Specialist will lead the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of specialized patient care within King Faisal Specialist Hospital & Research Center. This role combines direct patient management with research, education, and interdisciplinary collaboration to ensure high‑quality, evidence‑based treatment.

Key responsibilities

• Obtain comprehensive clinical histories, perform physical examinations, and order relevant diagnostic tests.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans for the assigned patient population.
• Make diagnostic decisions based on patient data, test results, and symptomatology.
• Provide specialty‑specific investigations, treatments, and therapies.
• Lead nurse‑run outpatient clinics and counsel patients on condition‑related issues.
• Collaborate with physicians on diagnostics, treatment options, and evidence‑based protocols.
• Participate in staff mentorship, education programs, and research activities.
• Promote patient safety, infection control, and cost‑effective resource utilization.

Required profile

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
• Minimum of four years of nursing experience with a Master’s degree, or six years with a Bachelor’s degree.
• Demonstrated ability to lead clinical teams and manage outpatient services.
