Senior Commercial Manager – Post Contract (Quantity Surveying)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Commercial Manager with a strong Quantity Surveying background to lead post‑contract commercial activities for a flagship mixed‑use development in Riyadh. Reporting to the Commercial Director, you will ensure robust commercial governance, cost control and contractual compliance across multi‑billion‑riyal construction packages.

Key responsibilities

• Lead post‑contract commercial management of major construction packages.
• Administer contracts and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
• Manage valuations, variations, change control and commercial reporting.
• Review and negotiate contractor claims and final accounts.
• Provide accurate forecasting, cost reporting and financial performance updates.
• Identify and manage commercial risks and opportunities.
• Support dispute avoidance and commercial resolution.
• Collaborate with project, design and construction teams to meet programme and budget objectives.
• Mentor and support junior commercial staff as required.

Required profile

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management.
• MRICS or equivalent professional qualification (highly desirable).
• 12–15 years of commercial management experience on major construction projects.
• Proven post‑contract experience on large‑scale mixed‑use or infrastructure programmes.
• Strong knowledge of FIDIC and international forms of contract.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Middle East experience advantageous but not essential.
