Senior Compliance Specialist

About the role

Unifonic is looking for a Senior Compliance Specialist to lead its regulatory engagement and compliance program in Riyadh. You will work closely with management, regulators and internal teams to anticipate risks, shape policies and ensure the company meets all applicable standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain an engagement framework with the Communications and Security Regulator (CST).
• Identify, assess and mitigate regulatory compliance risks across the organization.
• Coordinate communication with decision‑makers and stakeholders on regulatory updates and impacts.
• Organise and deliver regular training sessions on new regulations for employees.
• Create, implement and maintain policies, standards and procedures to satisfy telecom, data‑protection and data‑localisation requirements.
• Research industry regulations, evaluate internal compliance processes and maintain a comprehensive compliance record‑keeping system.
• Apply for compliance certifications, manage regulator relationships and track approval processes.
• Maintain a compliance register, document audit findings and develop action plans to remediate violations.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a compliance analyst or specialist in an enterprise environment.
• Proven ability to review and draft policies and documentation in both Arabic and English.
• Experience with international standards and local regulations related to telecommunications, data protection and data localisation.
• Relevant certification in compliance or project management is a plus.
• Higher‑education degree in law, business, or a related field.

Required skills

• Fluency in Arabic and English for policy drafting and stakeholder communication.
• Strong knowledge of telecom regulatory frameworks and data‑privacy legislation.
