Senior Construction Manager - Roads, Civils and Utilities

About the role

Mace is seeking a Senior Construction Manager to act as the client’s representative on a large mixed‑use development programme in Saudi Arabia. You will lead the day‑to‑day delivery of major civil and infrastructure works, ensuring safety, quality and programme compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Drive safe, high‑quality, compliant delivery of roads, highways, utilities and major civils works.
• Build trusted client and stakeholder relationships and translate strategic vision into clear delivery plans.
• Uphold ethical, fiscally responsible project governance and embed long‑term strategic value.
• Empower and guide multidisciplinary teams through best‑practice delivery excellence.
• Manage a strong health, safety and well‑being culture, including audits and critical controls.
• Oversee multidisciplinary coordination, stakeholder engagement and district‑wide interfaces.
• Ensure strict adherence to execution plans, technical standards, ITPs and project documentation.
• Provide clear reporting, lead project meetings and champion continuous improvement.
• Monitor on‑site progress, identify issues early and implement corrective actions.

Required profile

• Degree‑qualified with professional membership (e.g., MCIOB, MAPM, MRICS, MICE).
• 15+ years’ experience delivering complex, large‑scale infrastructure projects, including roads, highways, utilities and major civils works.
• Proven leadership of multidisciplinary contractor teams.
• Strong technical, commercial and sustainability awareness.
