Senior Contracts Engineer (Oil and Gas)

About the role

Eram Talent is recruiting a Senior Contracts Engineer for oil and gas projects in Saudi Arabia, based on site in Dammam. The role leads contract management for large-scale projects, ensuring contractual compliance, mitigating commercial risks and protecting company interests, working closely with project, procurement, legal and commercial teams.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review and negotiate contracts with clients, vendors and subcontractors.
• Manage contract administration, including change orders, variations, claims and amendments.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, project requirements and applicable laws and regulations.
• Identify, assess and mitigate contractual and commercial risks.
• Advise project teams on contract interpretation, obligations and dispute resolution.
• Maintain accurate contract records and documentation.
• Collaborate with legal, procurement and project management teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Law, Business or a related field (Master's preferred).
• 15+ years of experience in contracts management for oil and gas or EPC projects.
• Proven expertise in claims management, change orders and dispute resolution.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of standard contract forms (FIDIC, NEC, EPC, PSA) and commercial law.
• Negotiation, analytical and communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and contract management systems.
