Senior Contracts Manager

About the role

Gleeds is seeking a Senior Contracts Manager to support a high‑profile giga‑scale program in Riyadh. The role involves leading post‑contract commercial activities, managing claims, and maintaining strong client relationships within a fast‑moving construction environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage projects to deliver high‑quality services in line with Gleeds procedures.
• Engage with clients, develop relationships, and act as the primary point of contact for contractual matters.
• Review and respond to contractor correspondence and notice letters.
• Establish and defend entitlement on extensions of time, prolongation, and disruption claims.
• Assess contractor submissions for compliance with contract provisions and ensure auditable entitlement calculations.
• Handle a high volume of correspondence, prioritising timely responses.
• Implement and maintain correspondence tracking systems aligned with client document management.
• Coordinate multi‑disciplinary letter responses across technical, project controls, commercial, and contracts teams.
• Engage confidently with senior stakeholders at client and PMC levels.
• Produce and present reports to clients and advise directors of emerging issues.

Required profile

• Chartered status such as MRICS, FRICS, MCIArb or equivalent.
• Relevant degree (LLM, BSc Quantity Surveying, Law or equivalent).
• 15+ years of post‑graduate experience in commercial claims management.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience working in Saudi Arabia and with a consultancy.
• Experience on giga‑scale building projects.
• Strong knowledge of post‑contract claims management and FIDIC‑based contracts.
• Excellent oral and written English communication skills.
• Ability to absorb complex information and assess requirements quickly.
• Transferable Iqama.
