Senior Director – Commercial (Delivery)

About the role

Qiddiya is seeking a Senior Director to lead commercial strategy, governance and performance for large‑scale development, construction and infrastructure programmes. The role provides executive oversight of procurement, contract and financial management across a diverse project portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and drive the commercial strategy for major programmes, ensuring cost optimisation and risk mitigation.
• Oversee commercial governance, procurement strategy, contract administration and financial controls throughout the project lifecycle.
• Lead high‑value negotiations with contractors, consultants, suppliers and strategic partners.
• Monitor project financial performance, budgets, forecasts and cost reporting, and provide insights to executive leadership.
• Manage contract performance, change orders, claims, dispute resolution and commercial risk mitigation activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, Construction Management, Engineering, Finance or Business Administration; Master’s preferred.
• 15+ years of progressive experience in commercial management of large‑scale construction, infrastructure or real‑estate projects.
• Proven track record leading multidisciplinary commercial teams and delivering cost‑optimization initiatives.
