Senior Director Finance

About the role

The Senior Director of Finance will act as a strategic partner to the executive team, shaping financial strategy and driving operational excellence across the organization. This senior leader will guide the finance function, mentor the team, and translate complex financial data into actionable insights for non‑financial stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a financial strategy that supports long‑term corporate objectives.
• Lead the financial planning and analysis function, ensuring accurate budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Oversee financial reporting and guarantee compliance with GAAP/IFRS and regulatory requirements.
• Analyze financial metrics and provide insights to inform strategic decision‑making.
• Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess operational efficiency and financial performance.
• Implement and enhance internal controls, risk management processes, and financial governance.
• Mentor and develop finance professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Minimum 12 years of progressive finance experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
• Proven track record in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance, GAAP/IFRS, and internal control frameworks.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field; MBA or professional certification (CMA, CPA) preferred.
