Senior Director Strategic Accounts

About the role

The Senior Director, Strategic Accounts, TURMECA is a regional leadership position responsible for shaping and leading the Strategic Accounts Management agenda across the TURMECA region, covering private, public, GPO and health‑authority accounts.

Key responsibilities

• Develop systematic market and account understanding, translating insights into differentiated Pan‑Medtronic value propositions.
• Design and execute short‑ and long‑term strategic account plans aligned with Medtronic’s commercial strategy and growth objectives.
• Establish and maintain trusted relationships with C‑suite leaders, procurement bodies, GPOs and health authorities, acting as executive sponsor for the most strategic accounts.
• Identify and qualify cross‑portfolio growth opportunities, lead complex negotiations and deliver agreed revenue, profitability and market‑share targets.
• Coordinate country teams and operating units to ensure consistent engagement across borders and promote best‑practice sharing.
• Monitor account performance, forecast pipelines, manage risks and provide regular updates to the TURMECA Leadership Team.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Healthcare Management, Public Health, Life Sciences or related field; Master’s or MBA is a plus.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in strategic account management, business development or healthcare sales, with at least 10 years in managerial leadership.
• Proven track record managing large, complex strategic accounts across private, public, GPO and health‑authority settings.
• Strong C‑suite engagement, negotiation and partnership development skills.
• Deep understanding of healthcare systems, procurement models, reimbursement and regulatory environments.
• Fluency in English required; Arabic, Turkish and/or Russian are advantageous.
