Senior Engineer - ERP Systems

About the role

Elm is hiring a Senior Engineer (grade I2, Corporate Planning & Enablement, Corporate Technology, Enterprise Applications) in Riyadh. The role supports the implementation, operation and continuous improvement of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems by turning business requirements into technical solutions, configuring and integrating applications, and resolving complex technical issues. It contributes to ERP availability, reliability and continuity through testing, controlled deployments, technical coordination and documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Support ERP implementation and deployment, configure application components, coordinate releases and rollbacks, and track deliverables and risks.
• Gather and document business requirements, turn them into technical specifications, and assess the feasibility of proposed changes.
• Provide Level 3 technical support for escalated incidents, investigate root causes and carry out incident, problem and change management in line with ITIL practices.
• Develop, maintain and troubleshoot interfaces between ERP and other applications, validate data exchanges, and support Single Sign-On (SSO) and access configurations.
• Monitor ERP availability and performance, coordinate server, system, database and network dependencies, and maintain configuration records and license usage information.
• Support backup, recovery and disaster recovery planning and testing, and identify application continuity risks.
• Run technical, system, integration and regression tests, support UAT, track defects and document test results.
• Support ERP enhancements, coordinate vendor support and maintenance, and keep documentation of configurations, integrations and procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems or a related field.
• 2-4 years of relevant experience in ERP implementation, configuration, technical support, development or systems integration.
• Relevant certifications in ERP platforms, systems integration or IT service management are an advantage.
