About the role

This position is a senior engineer role focused on transmission substations. The key purpose is to identify problems in the substation, plan maintenance and monitor the work of contractors.

Key responsibilities

Perform site visits to supervise maintenance work carried out by contractors.
Troubleshoot and diagnose problems, and identify the consequences of changes.
Ensure documentation of errors and actions taken.
Read and design drawings, and manage the control system.
Carry out switching operations and circuit main earth connections, and perform non-electrical work in stations.
Issue permits for work, sanctions for tests, certificates of isolation and access limitations, and receive sanctions for tests.

Required profile

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
