Senior Forensics (GCC National)

About the role

EY Forensic & Integrity Services helps organisations protect and restore their reputation, investigate facts, resolve disputes and manage regulatory challenges. An Assistant Manager position has opened in Al Khobar to support the MENA Forensics team in compliance and risk assessments and other forensic projects, offering exposure to a fast-paced market and the chance to mentor junior team members.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and oversee services covering regulatory compliance, FCC, corporate governance, enterprise risk management and internal controls for clients
• Help clients set up anti-fraud units by designing the governance framework, developing policies and procedures and building the unit's structure
• Work with the client's operational risk management team on key risk indicators and reporting
• Pack project findings into clear, concise work products and act as a subject matter expert
• Drive process improvements and ensure project teams follow the Q&RM guidelines

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in a related field
• At least three years of financial crime compliance experience (AML/CFT, sanctions, anti-bribery, corruption and fraud) in banking and/or a public accounting firm
• Strong understanding of regulator and international organisation expectations, such as FATF
• Knowledge of the global risk and regulatory environment, especially FCC developments
• Industry certification such as CAMS or ICA diploma in AML
• Ideal: MENA region experience, postgraduate qualifications in AML/CFT or professional qualifications in risk management
