Senior Logistics Officer – Aviation

About the role

Riyadh Air is seeking an experienced logistics professional to support maintenance and operational activities. You will ensure the timely, compliant, and efficient movement of aircraft parts and materials across domestic and international networks.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end logistics operations, including transportation planning, shipment tracking, customs clearance and vendor coordination.
• Oversee time‑sensitive parts movements, proactively handle disruptions and resolve issues to minimise aircraft downtime.
• Ensure compliance with GACA, IATA, ICAO, FAA and EASA regulations, including Dangerous Goods handling.
• Maintain accurate shipping documentation, customs records and bonded stock, ready for audit.
• Monitor logistics performance through KPIs, drive continuous improvement and support digital tool adoption.

Required profile

• Degree qualified with a minimum of 4 years experience in aviation or aerospace logistics.
• Hands‑on experience in freight forwarding, bonded logistics and aircraft parts movement (including AOG).
• Strong knowledge of IATA DGR and aviation customs compliance.
• Proficiency with logistics tracking systems, ERP platforms such as AMOS and Microsoft Office.
• Excellent operational judgment, incident handling and problem‑solving in a shift‑based, time‑critical environment.
