Senior Manager – Audit Professional Practice (DPP)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager to join KPMG’s Department of Professional Practice (DPP) within the Audit division. The role focuses on driving audit quality across the Middle East, providing technical guidance, tools and templates to engagement teams, and supporting digitally innovative audit solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to technical inquiries and consultations from engagement teams on complex auditing matters.
• Provide technical leadership on high‑risk and public engagements across various industries.
• Design and deliver regional training programs and technical learning initiatives.
• Monitor updates to standards, methodology and related resources, ensuring timely implementation.
• Lead audit quality initiatives and collaborate with regional DPP teams on strategic projects.
• Represent KPMG Middle East in regional and global DPP working groups.
• Contribute to regulatory readiness, inspection responses and mentor junior DPP professionals.

Required profile

• Professional accounting qualification (CPA, CA, ACCA, ACA or equivalent).
• Minimum 9 years of progressive external audit experience with a Big Four or leading international audit firm.
• Strong knowledge of International Standards on Auditing (ISA) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
• Proven ability to lead multiple projects, work independently and within teams.
• Excellent communication, project management and presentation skills.
