Senior Manager – Department of Professional Practice (DPP) Audit

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager to join KPMG’s Department of Professional Practice (DPP) Audit in Riyadh. The role focuses on driving audit quality across the Middle East, providing technical guidance, tools and templates to audit engagement teams, and promoting digitally innovative solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to technical inquiries and provide consultation to engagement teams.
• Lead technical guidance on high‑risk and public engagements across various industries.
• Design and deliver regional training programs and technical learning initiatives.
• Monitor updates to standards, methodology and related resources.
• Support audit quality initiatives and collaborate on strategic projects with regional DPP teams.
• Represent KPMG Middle East in regional and global DPP working groups.
• Assist with regulatory readiness and inspection responses.
• Coach and mentor managers and junior DPP professionals.

Required profile

• Professional accounting qualification (CPA, CA, ACCA, ACA or equivalent).
• Minimum 9 years of progressive external audit experience with a Big Four or leading international audit firm.
• Strong knowledge of International Standards on Auditing (ISA) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
• Proven ability to lead multiple projects, work independently and within teams.
• Excellent communication, project management and presentation skills.
