Senior Officer, Technology NOC Shift Leader

About the role

The Senior Officer, Technology NOC Shift Leader is responsible for real‑time monitoring and maintenance of the bank’s network infrastructure during assigned shift hours. The role blends advanced technical troubleshooting with tactical team leadership to ensure service level agreements are met and system availability is maintained.

Key responsibilities

• Define tasks and objectives for NOC teams, monitor progress and provide regular feedback.
• Recommend enhancements during budgeting cycles to balance cost and service quality.
• Develop, review and enforce departmental policies, procedures and work instructions.
• Oversee production tasks such as batch processing, automated jobs and report generation to meet business needs.
• Respond promptly to alerts, escalating or resolving incidents while coordinating with business stakeholders.
• Supervise 24/7 NOC operations, managing applications, systems, network, security, infrastructure, storage, ATMs and related components.
• Manage the bank’s datacenters and media library to support operational requirements.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and motivate staff to enhance processes and productivity.

Required profile

• Minimum five years of experience in network operations or IT production within the banking sector.
• Proven ability to lead and develop NOC teams.
• Strong understanding of banking regulations, AML/CTF, KYC and related compliance requirements.
• Experience in budgeting, audit remediation and risk management.
