Senior Private Equity Risk Advisor – Riyadh

About the role

Our client, a global investor based in Riyadh, is expanding its Private Markets investment risk team. The senior professional will lead risk processes for private‑equity assets and work closely with investment teams, board members, and external consultants.

Key responsibilities

• Lead investment risk processes for private‑markets investments.
• Support the department head on technical and strategic initiatives.
• Participate in board‑related work across sectors such as gaming, mining, and aircraft leasing.
• Attend due‑diligence meetings and review portfolio company business plans from a risk perspective.
• Coordinate with the fund ODD team on risk‑focused due diligence.
• Roll out the GRC framework to portfolio companies and enhance investment risk reporting.
• Engage consultants on various investment‑risk projects.

Required profile

• Prior experience in private‑markets investment risk.
• Background in a consulting firm or bank.
• Proven track record building and implementing GRC frameworks.
• Experience working closely with investment teams to develop risk dashboards.
• Degree from a top‑tier university in finance, economics, mathematics, engineering or a related field; Master’s preferred.
