Senior Procurement Officer

About the role

GeoHarbour Saudi Arabia is seeking a Senior Procurement Officer to lead procurement activities for major engineering and infrastructure projects across the Kingdom. The role is based in Al Khobar and involves close collaboration with project teams to ensure timely and cost‑effective delivery of materials and services.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and execute procurement processes in line with project schedules and requirements.
• Evaluate, approve, and onboard suppliers and subcontractors in coordination with relevant departments.
• Negotiate prices, terms, and contract conditions with vendors.
• Track purchase orders, monitor delivery timelines, and resolve any supply‑chain issues.
• Prepare regular procurement reports, monitoring cost performance and compliance.
• Ensure adherence to company procurement policies, procedures, and legal requirements.
• Maintain and develop supplier relationships to improve overall supply‑chain performance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline, preferably Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of procurement experience, including at least 5 years in Saudi Arabia on infrastructure projects.
• Proven experience in engineering and construction procurement.
• Strong knowledge of procurement procedures, supply‑chain management, and contract administration.
• Excellent negotiation, analytical, and time‑management abilities.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
