Senior Procurement Specialist

About the role

The Senior Procurement Specialist is responsible for end‑to‑end management of locally sourced goods and services that support business operations. The role ensures purchasing activities are efficient, cost‑effective, and fully compliant with company policies.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full procurement lifecycle – from supplier sourcing and qualification to purchase order issuance and performance monitoring.
• Conduct RFQs, competitive bidding, and supplier evaluations, negotiating pricing, commercial terms, and service agreements.
• Create and manage purchase orders, reconcile PO, goods receipt, and invoices, and monitor delivery timelines.
• Maintain supplier records, qualification documents, and contracts; monitor performance against service levels, quality, price, and delivery commitments.
• Support cost‑saving initiatives through strategic sourcing, spend analysis, and procurement reporting.
• Ensure all procurement activities comply with internal policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, and support audit processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of procurement or sourcing experience, preferably with local KSA suppliers in a regulated distribution or healthcare environment.
• Hands‑on experience running RFQs and negotiating price and payment terms.

Required skills

• Working knowledge of ERP procurement modules (requisition, purchase order, three‑way match).
