Senior Project Director

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Project Director to lead the delivery of large‑scale construction projects in Riyadh. The role will oversee multi‑billion SAR building developments, including high‑rise towers, from inception through handover.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for planning, execution, and delivery of major construction projects.
• Direct multidisciplinary teams to meet safety, quality, cost, and schedule objectives.
• Oversee all project lifecycle phases, from design coordination and procurement to construction, commissioning, and handover.
• Manage client relationships and act as primary contact for key stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, specifications, local regulations, and international standards.
• Lead project controls, including budgeting, scheduling, risk, and change management.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, subcontractors, and government authorities.
• Monitor performance, identify risks, and implement corrective actions to meet milestones.
• Drive commercial performance, support contract administration, claims management, and dispute resolution.
• Mentor senior project teams and foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Minimum 20 years of project management experience with Tier 1 main contractors.
• Proven delivery of multi‑billion SAR construction projects, including high‑rise towers.
• Successful management of complex projects from inception to completion.
• Strong expertise in construction management, contract administration, commercial management, project controls, risk management, and stakeholder engagement.
• Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and decision‑making abilities.
• In‑depth knowledge of Saudi local regulations, international construction standards, and industry best practices.
• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or architecture (mandatory); Master’s degree or PMP certification is a plus.
