Senior Project Manager – Construction Management Supervision

About the role

The client, a leading international design and construction consultancy, is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead the Construction Management Supervision (CMS) team on a major heritage and cultural project in Riyadh. The role oversees project delivery from mobilisation to handover, ensuring programme, quality, cost, safety and contractual objectives are met.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the construction supervision team to deliver the project within approved scope, schedule, budget and quality targets.
• Act as the primary site representative for the consultancy and client, coordinating contractors, consultants, authorities and other stakeholders.
• Administer FIDIC‑based construction contracts, review claims, variations and extensions of time, and ensure contractual compliance.
• Monitor construction activities, testing, commissioning and handover to guarantee compliance with drawings, specifications and Saudi Building Code.
• Maintain strong stakeholder relationships, lead project meetings and present progress, risks and recommendations to senior management.
• Track project schedules, manage critical path activities, support commercial teams with variations, valuations and final accounts.
• Ensure quality, QA/QC processes and HSE performance meet project and regulatory standards.
• Lead, mentor and develop multidisciplinary supervision teams, fostering a collaborative high‑performance environment.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering or construction discipline.
• Transferable Saudi iqama.
• Extensive experience in FIDIC contract administration, construction supervision and large‑scale developments.
• Proven ability to manage complex projects, risks and stakeholder interfaces.
