Senior Project Manager

About the role

Parsons is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead complex projects from inception to completion. You will be responsible for planning, defining program goals, and ensuring alignment with client objectives, contract terms, and corporate policies.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, direct, supervise, and control all business, technical, fiscal, and administrative functions of assigned projects.
• Develop and maintain Project Execution, Health & Safety, and Quality Assurance/Control plans.
• Assign responsibilities to team members based on qualifications and strengths.
• Negotiate scope changes with clients and subcontractors and secure additional work.
• Prepare and distribute project summaries and status reports to stakeholders.
• Mobilize resources across support departments, offices, and subsidiaries to form effective project teams.
• Collaborate with engineers and discipline leads to develop budgets, schedules, and action plans.
• Monitor project progress, milestones, cost overruns, and schedule delays, and advise management and clients of changes.
• Maintain timely change orders and promote technical and commercial excellence through quality assurance processes.

Required profile

• Proven senior‑level experience managing large‑scale construction or engineering projects.
• Strong ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders.
• Excellent negotiation skills for scope changes and client engagements.
• Demonstrated capability to develop and control budgets, schedules, and risk mitigation plans.
• Experience preparing and presenting comprehensive project documentation and reports.
