Senior Project Manager – Mega Civil Projects

About the role

We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Project Manager to lead large‑scale civil and transportation projects in Riyadh. The role focuses on delivering complex infrastructure such as roads, highways, bridges and tunnels while ensuring client objectives are met.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Project Director in overall project execution.
• Review design adequacy, identify conflicts and advise on resolutions.
• Coordinate with discipline managers and site team leaders to maintain effective communication.
• Develop and implement procedures for planning, supervising construction works and controlling project costs.
• Review and approve technical documents submitted to the client by contractors.
• Monitor progress, resource usage and take corrective actions when needed.
• Ensure deliverables meet agreed standards and satisfy stakeholder requirements.
• Manage stakeholder relationships and adjust engagement strategies.
• Apply change control and configuration management processes.
• Report project status through highlight reports and end‑stage assessments.
• Identify inter‑project dependencies and mitigate impacts.
• Contribute to technical issue resolution throughout the project lifecycle.
• Proactively assess and improve project management processes.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in civil engineering, construction engineering, engineering management or a related field; chartered membership preferred.
• Professional certifications such as PMP or PRINCE2.
• Over 20 years of overall experience and at least 12 years as a Project Manager.
• Extensive experience supervising complex construction projects, primarily as a consultant.
