Senior Psychiatry Registrar – Outpatient Clinic

About the role

The Senior Psychiatry Registrar will provide specialized outpatient psychiatric care within My Clinic’s multispecialty setting in Saudi Arabia. Reporting to the Department Chairman/Medical Director, the role combines direct patient management with teaching, program development and quality assurance responsibilities.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive psychiatric assessment, diagnosis and treatment to clinic patients.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Provide consultation services within approved privileges and participate in departmental educational programs.
• Coach, educate and supervise staff physicians, assistant consultants and trainees.
• Develop subspecialty clinical programs and quality assurance initiatives in line with MOH and CBAHI standards.
• Serve on medical staff committees and assume responsibilities in other divisions as needed.

Required profile

• Medical degree from a recognized school and completion of a formal residency program with subspecialty training.
• Minimum 5 years post‑MD experience and at least 1 year of subspecialty certification.
• Valid SCFHS license for the specialty and sub‑specialty, plus current BCLS, PALS and ACLS certifications.
