Senior Quality Engineer – Jeddah

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Quality Engineer to lead quality assurance and control activities on our construction projects in Jeddah. You will ensure that all contractor work complies with project specifications, standards, and contractual requirements while supporting the construction team and other quality specialists.

Key responsibilities

• Review vendor pre‑qualifications, method statements, Inspection Test Plans (ITP), equipment data, and material samples for compliance.
• Maintain up‑to‑date site activity logs and record all quality observations.
• Develop and maintain standard quality documentation and propose improvements.
• Plan and execute regular inspections and audits to verify adherence to specifications.
• Coordinate QC activities across trades, manage off‑site material testing, and monitor performance of control tests.
• Lead investigations of non‑conformances, evaluate corrective and preventive action plans.
• Participate in commissioning planning and implementation.
• Facilitate quality meetings with contractors, construction teams, and suppliers.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly quality reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in quality assurance/quality control within construction or production environments.
• Strong knowledge of construction techniques, procedures, and relevant standards.
