Senior Security Operations Expert

About the role

The Security Operation Senior Expert will lead and enhance cybersecurity operations across Specialized’s networks, systems and applications. The role ensures proactive threat monitoring, rapid incident response, and continuous improvement of security controls to protect mission‑critical environments.

Key responsibilities

• Lead continuous monitoring of networks, applications, systems and integration points to identify and respond to threats and vulnerabilities.
• Oversee implementation and effectiveness of security controls, ensuring alignment with frameworks and regulatory requirements.
• Manage SOC activities, including threat detection, incident triage, response coordination and resolution.
• Analyze incidents and threat trends, recommend corrective actions and strengthen security posture.
• Direct security assessments, vulnerability scans, penetration testing and remediation planning.
• Coordinate vulnerability management, patching, system hardening and configuration reviews.
• Maintain cybersecurity documentation and evidence for audits and compliance reviews.
• Provide risk insights, incident updates and recommendations to management.
• Apply threat intelligence and security advisories to improve preventive and detective capabilities.
• Monitor performance metrics, recommend improvements and drive SOC maturity.
• Promote cybersecurity awareness and knowledge sharing within operational teams.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in cybersecurity operations or a similar role.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Proven experience leading SOC functions and managing incident response.
• Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
