Senior Software Engineer – Newgen/Temenos Transact

About the role

We are seeking experienced Senior Software Engineers to join our Banking Technology and Enterprise Solutions practice. The role focuses on designing, developing, and optimizing enterprise banking solutions using Newgen and Temenos Transact platforms, while ensuring high‑quality delivery throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, customize, and maintain scalable banking and process‑automation solutions.
• Translate business and functional requirements into reliable technical implementations.
• Participate in detailed design, code walkthroughs, peer reviews, testing, deployment, and production support.
• Build and maintain integrations with external applications, databases, APIs, and enterprise platforms.
• Perform troubleshooting, performance tuning, and support unit, system, SIT, and UAT testing.
• Apply secure coding practices, clean‑code principles, design patterns, and SDLC standards.
• Collaborate with analysts, architects, infrastructure teams, and project stakeholders.
• Lead, mentor, and support development teams, distribute tasks, and track progress.
• Review code, enforce quality standards, and act as the primary technical point of contact.

Required profile

• Strong hands‑on experience with Java‑based enterprise development.
• Proven ability to work on complex banking or financial software projects.
• Experience guiding development teams and ensuring adherence to architectural and delivery standards.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to communicate technical concepts clearly.
