Senior Specialist - Tax

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Specialist – Tax to join Qiddiya Investment Company’s finance team in Saudi Arabia. The role will provide strategic tax advice, ensure compliance with local and international tax regulations, and support the company’s growth initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee preparation and timely filing of all tax returns, ensuring full compliance with applicable laws.
• Advise internal departments on tax implications of transactions and business planning.
• Analyse tax liabilities and develop strategies to optimise overall tax efficiency.
• Monitor legislative changes and produce reports on their impact for the organisation.
• Collaborate with auditors and external consultants during tax audits and liaise with tax authorities.
• Support the development and maintenance of tax policies, procedures and risk‑management frameworks.
• Train and mentor junior tax staff on processes and best practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Law or a related field; advanced degree or CPA/CA/ACCA certification is a plus.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in tax compliance and advisory, preferably with international tax exposure.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities, with the capacity to interpret complex tax codes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to explain tax concepts to non‑technical audiences.
• Prior experience in a large corporate environment or consultancy is preferred.

Required skills

• Proficiency with tax compliance software.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
