Senior Tax Associate

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Tax Associate to lead tax compliance and reporting across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the broader GCC region. You will work in a fast‑paced fintech environment, collaborating with cross‑functional teams to ensure regulatory adherence.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare corporate tax, Zakat, VAT, and withholding tax filings, ensuring accurate calculation, filing, and payment within deadlines.
• Calculate and record monthly and year‑end tax provisions for financial reporting.
• Maintain audit‑ready documentation to support tax positions and regulatory submissions.
• Manage end‑to‑end ZATCA portal activities, including registration updates, return submissions, and query responses.
• Support statutory and tax audits by liaising with external auditors and ZATCA officials.
• Monitor changes in KSA tax legislation and assess business impact.
• Ensure e‑invoicing (FATOORA) compliance in coordination with IT and finance teams.
• Review contracts and cross‑border transactions for correct withholding tax treatment.
• Assist with transfer pricing documentation and related‑party disclosures.
• Support month‑end and year‑end close activities, including deferred tax calculations.
• Identify process improvements and automate tax compliance workflows within the ERP system.

Required profile

• 2–3 years of experience in tax reporting, compliance, or external audit, preferably in fintech, banking, or a Big 4 firm.
• Professional qualifications such as CPA or ACCA are highly preferred.
• Fluent in English and Arabic, both written and verbal.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel
• ERP experience (Oracle NetSuite is a plus)
• Strong knowledge of Saudi tax regulations (Zakat, CIT, VAT, WHT)
• Experience with ZATCA portal submissions
