Senior Voice & Collaboration Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Voice & Collaboration Engineer to lead the design, implementation, and support of enterprise voice and collaboration platforms. The role ensures high availability, performance, and security of Cisco, Avaya, and IP‑telephony services across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and maintain Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM) clusters, voice gateways, SIP trunks, and IP phones.
• Configure, manage, and troubleshoot Cisco Meeting Server (CMS) for video conferencing and collaboration.
• Support and integrate Avaya voice and meeting solutions with Cisco platforms.
• Monitor voice infrastructure, perform health checks, and generate performance reports.
• Resolve complex VoIP, IP Telephony, and Unified Communications incidents (Tier 2/3 support).
• Execute system upgrades, patch management, backups, and routine maintenance.
• Collaborate with network, security, and infrastructure teams to ensure compliance and optimization.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and knowledge‑base articles.
• Participate in disaster recovery planning, testing, and business continuity activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Telecommunications or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of hands‑on experience with Cisco and Avaya voice solutions.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve advanced VoIP and UC issues.
• Strong analytical skills and experience working in cross‑functional teams.
