Ship Unloader Operator

About the role

The Ship Unloader Operator works full‑time on‑site at our Yanbu port, handling the safe and efficient unloading of grain and other bulk commodities from vessels. You will operate specialised unloading equipment, monitor material flow and ensure compliance with safety, quality and environmental standards.

Key responsibilities

• Operate ship unloading machinery and related equipment to discharge grain and bulk cargo.
• Monitor and adjust material flow to prevent spillage, contamination or damage.
• Inspect equipment before and after use, report maintenance needs and assist with basic troubleshooting.
• Complete required documentation, logs and collaborate with supervisors and terminal staff to meet unloading schedules.

Required profile

• Experience operating heavy or port machinery, preferably ship unloaders or similar bulk handling systems.
• Knowledge of safe work practices and compliance with safety, health and environmental regulations in industrial or maritime settings.
• Ability to read and follow operating procedures, work instructions and basic technical documentation.
• Physical ability to work outdoors in port conditions, stand for long periods and climb stairs or ladders.
