Shipping & Clearance Officer

About the role

The Shipping & Clearance Officer will manage the end‑to‑end movement of shipments from suppliers to their final destination, ensuring smooth clearance and timely delivery to support production and distribution activities.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate with shipping agents, customs brokers, freight forwarders and port authorities to ensure smooth clearance.
• Track shipments from dispatch to final delivery, providing regular status updates to internal teams.
• Prepare, review and verify shipping and customs documentation for accuracy.
• Resolve delays, documentation issues or discrepancies during customs clearance.
• Maintain detailed records of shipments, costs, clearance documents and delivery status.
• Communicate shipment schedules and requirements with suppliers, carriers and internal departments.

Required profile

• 2–4 years of experience in shipping, logistics, freight forwarding or customs clearance.
• Strong knowledge of import/export procedures and Saudi customs regulations.
• Experience working with shipping agents, customs brokers, freight forwarders and ports.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and problem‑solving abilities.
• Good command of English; Arabic is an advantage.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.
