Site Architect

About the role

The Site Architect will oversee the architectural execution of construction projects on‑site, ensuring that all works are carried out in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards and the project schedule. The role requires close coordination with consultants, contractors, subcontractors and internal teams to deliver high‑end projects while maintaining design integrity and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise architectural works on‑site to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications and contract documents.
• Review architectural shop drawings, material submittals and method statements before execution.
• Coordinate architectural activities with structural, MEP and interior fit‑out teams to resolve design conflicts.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor construction progress, workmanship and quality.
• Identify construction issues and propose practical technical solutions in coordination with design and project teams.
• Prepare and respond to Requests for Information (RFIs) and Site Instructions (SIs).
• Monitor contractor performance and ensure works are completed according to project schedules.
• Attend site meetings with clients, consultants, contractors and internal stakeholders.
• Review mock‑ups, material samples and finishes to ensure compliance with design intent.
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly progress reports.
• Ensure compliance with local authority regulations, building codes and health & safety requirements.
• Participate in snagging, testing, commissioning and final project handover.
• Maintain accurate site documentation, inspection records and project correspondence.
• Support the Project Manager in monitoring project progress, risks and overall site performance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture.
• Minimum 8 years of experience, including at least 6 years in on‑site architectural roles.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
• Saudi driving licence preferred.
• Proven track record delivering high‑end interior and exterior projects.

Required skills

• Proficient in AutoCAD.
• Proficient in Revit.
• Proficient in SketchUp.
• Experience with project management software.
