Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) – DevSecOps Cloud Platform

About the role

Capgemini Engineering is looking for a skilled Site Reliability Engineer to ensure reliability, scalability, and security of cloud‑native platforms. You will drive DevSecOps practices, automation, and operational excellence across mission‑critical services.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and maintain Kubernetes clusters for high availability and performance.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform for automated deployments.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines with Git/GitLab.
• Lead incident bridges (P1/P2), coordinate cross‑functional teams, and ensure timely resolution.
• Perform root cause analysis and drive preventive improvements.
• Monitor system health with Datadog and PagerDuty.
• Collaborate with development, security, and operations teams to enhance reliability.
• Document processes and share knowledge via Confluence.
• Automate tasks using Python and/or Bash scripting.
• Ensure compliance with cloud security standards and enterprise governance.

Required profile

• 4–5 years of hands‑on experience in DevSecOps or SRE roles.
• Proven expertise managing Kubernetes environments.
• Strong experience with Terraform and Git/GitLab.
• Familiarity with HashiCorp Vault, Datadog, PagerDuty, and Confluence.
• Understanding of SRE principles (SLIs, SLOs, error budgets).
• Knowledge of cloud security concepts (IAM, encryption, network & container security, vulnerability management).
• Experience in incident, change, and RCA processes.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
