SOC Senior Analyst

About the role

Accenture is seeking a Senior SOC Analyst to serve as the escalation point for complex security incidents. You will lead in‑depth investigations, turn findings into improved processes, and mentor L1 analysts across client environments.

Key responsibilities

• Own the investigation, analysis, and resolution of escalated security incidents in line with defined SLAs.
• Analyze and categorize events, applying sound judgment to ambiguous or complex cases.
• Perform detailed triage and deep analysis of detected or escalated security events.
• Develop and maintain SOC operating procedures, playbooks, and incident response plans.
• Support SIEM administrators in use‑case creation and detection logic improvement.
• Guide L1 analysts, share knowledge, and help raise overall team capability.

Required profile

• Solid experience in SOC operations handling escalated and complex incidents.
• Deep understanding of threat analysis, attack techniques, and incident response methodologies.
• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field.

Required skills

• Proficiency with SIEM, SOAR and EDR platforms.
• Experience developing and maintaining playbooks, runbooks and IR documentation.
• Ability to create and tune SIEM use cases.
• Knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK framework for threat mapping.
• Familiarity with cloud security monitoring in Azure, AWS or GCP.
