Solution Engineer – Data Platform Lead (Middle East & Africa)

About the role

Microsoft is looking for a passionate Solution Engineer to lead its Data Platform initiatives across the Middle East and Africa. You will work at the intersection of cloud, AI and analytics, helping commercial customers modernise their data estates and unlock the full value of Azure’s database and analytics services.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineering leaders and platform teams to accelerate the Fabric Data Platform and Azure database services.
• Deliver hands‑on engagements such as proof‑of‑concepts, hackathons and architecture workshops.
• Guide customers through secure, scalable solution design and influence technical decisions.
• Accelerate migration of database and analytics workloads into Azure deployment workflows.
• Act as a trusted technical advisor, helping enterprises modernise their data platforms.

Required profile

• Insatiable curiosity and deep passion for databases, analytics and AI.
• Minimum 6 years of experience (72 months) in cloud‑based data solutions.
• Strong business acumen and ability to communicate complex technical concepts.
