Staff Accountant – Full‑Time Accounting Role

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Staff Accountant to support daily accounting operations and ensure accurate financial records. The role involves handling general ledger activities, reconciliations, accounts payable/receivable, and assisting with financial reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Record and review daily financial transactions and journal entries.
• Maintain accurate general ledger accounts and supporting documentation.
• Perform bank, credit‑card and balance‑sheet reconciliations.
• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoice preparation and payment.
• Support month‑end, quarter‑end and year‑end closing activities.
• Prepare account analyses, reconciliations and financial schedules.
• Help prepare financial statements and management reports.
• Research and resolve discrepancies in accounts and financial records.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis as needed.
• Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Staff Accountant, Accountant or similar role.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related field.
• Hands‑on experience with general ledger maintenance, journal entries, reconciliations and financial reporting.
• Familiarity with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Experience using accounting software and ERP or financial management platforms.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
• Experience with accounting software and ERP systems.
• Strong knowledge of account reconciliations and journal entry processing.
• Ability to prepare and analyze financial reports.
