About the role

Join Lenovo's Group CTO KSA RD Center as an AI Research Scientist. You will help shape the next generation of intelligent systems across robotics, autonomous platforms, smart environments, and industrial AI by researching, developing, and deploying advanced AI solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Research, develop, and optimize AI, machine learning, computer vision, and agentic AI solutions for real‑world applications.
• Design perception systems including object detection, classification, segmentation, tracking, pose estimation, and recognition.
• Build AI capabilities for robotics and autonomous systems such as localization, sensor fusion, navigation, prediction, and decision‑making.
• Develop and integrate large language models, vision‑language models, multimodal models, and AI agents for intelligent reasoning and human‑machine interaction.
• Deploy and optimize AI models across edge and cloud environments, balancing performance, scalability, latency, and cost.
• Evaluate emerging AI technologies and foundation models, creating prototypes, benchmarks, and performance metrics.
• Collaborate with global research, engineering, and product teams to turn research into production‑ready solutions, patents, and intellectual property.

Required profile

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Mathematics, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience developing and deploying machine learning, computer vision, or agentic AI solutions from research to production.
• Strong expertise in computer vision techniques, including detection, classification, segmentation, tracking, and sensor fusion.
• Hands‑on experience with PyTorch, TensorFlow, OpenCV, and modern AI/ML development frameworks.
