Staff AI Software Engineer (Saudi National)

About the role

We are seeking a Saudi National Staff AI Software Engineer who is passionate about both hands‑on development and technical leadership. In this 50/50 split role you will build high‑performance full‑stack applications while shaping engineering standards and processes.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and scale modern full‑stack applications with a focus on performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Mentor engineers, conduct code reviews, and champion best‑practice engineering standards.
• Define coding standards, software architecture, and development processes to improve quality across teams.
• Collaborate with Product Managers and Engineering Leadership on sprint planning, technical initiative breakdown, estimation, and delivery improvement.

Required profile

• 8+ years of software engineering experience, operating at Staff, Principal, or Technical Lead level.
• Strong commercial experience with Java and the Spring ecosystem (Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Spring MVC).
• Full‑stack expertise using React, Next.js, TypeScript, and modern front‑end technologies.
• Proven experience designing distributed micro‑services, REST APIs, and event‑driven systems.
• Hands‑on experience with AI‑native products, LLM integration, RAG, AI agents, vector databases, LangChain, LangGraph, or similar frameworks.
• Experience building AI services with Python and FastAPI.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
