Strategic Account Manager

About the role

Zimmer Biomet is seeking a Strategic Account Manager to partner with hospital leadership and clinical teams, driving transformational change and delivering high‑value services that improve productivity, quality and competitiveness. The role focuses on managing strategic accounts, expanding relationships and achieving sales and strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain professional relationships with key personnel in assigned hospital accounts.
• Lead joint account planning processes to set performance objectives, financial targets and milestones for 1‑ and 3‑year horizons.
• Identify, validate and prioritize customer needs, coordinating cross‑functional resources to deliver tailored solutions.
• Manage end‑to‑end projects that generate quantified economic value and optimize clinical pathways.
• Drive data analytics on clinical, operational and financial outcomes to support decision‑making.
• Achieve incremental sales quota and strategic account objectives.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in business development or account management within the healthcare industry.
• Proven ability to engage with hospital C‑suite, clinical leaders and senior management.
• Experience working in international, matrix‑ed environments.
• Strong analytical, communication and influencing skills.

Required skills

• Project management – planning, coordinating, risk management and milestone delivery.
• Data analytics – ability to analyse clinical, operational and financial data.
