Structural Design Review Engineer – Civil

About the role

SGS is seeking a Structural Design Review Engineer (Civil) to lead structural analysis, design, and documentation for projects in Saudi Arabia. The role involves close collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to ensure structural solutions meet all codes, standards, and project requirements while supporting construction activities.

Key responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design for steel and post‑tensioned structures.
• Prepare, review, and approve structural drawings, Revit models, and shop drawings.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate structural aspects into overall engineering designs.
• Provide technical support during construction, resolve on‑site issues, and conduct inspections and assessments.
• Ensure compliance with the Saudi Building Code and other relevant standards.
• Stay updated on advancements in structural engineering practices and software tools.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• 5–7 years of professional experience in structural engineering.
• Fluent in Arabic and English.
• Preference for registration with the Saudi Council of Engineers.
• Ability to join immediately.

Required skills

• Strong experience with Revit (Structural).
• Knowledge of steel structure design.
• Knowledge of post‑tension design.
• Proficiency in structural analysis software such as ETABS, SAFE, SAP2000, AutoCAD, RAM, and Idea Statica.
