SVP - Ratings & Research Franchise Lead

About the role

Moody's is seeking a senior leader to head its Ratings & Research franchise in Saudi Arabia. The SVP will shape analytical standards, drive AI‑enabled insights, and represent Moody's Ratings to senior stakeholders across the Gulf region.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the development and governance of rating methodologies and analytical standards.
• Engage confidently with senior internal and external stakeholders on complex credit topics.
• Translate regional economic, financial and policy trends into high‑quality thematic research.
• Influence cross‑functional teams in a matrixed organization without direct authority.
• Champion responsible AI practices to improve analytical processes.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in credit analysis, ratings or a related analytical function.
• Strong knowledge of Saudi Arabia, GCC and emerging‑market credit dynamics.
• Proven ability to lead through influence and exercise sound judgment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Fluency in Arabic to support senior stakeholder engagement.
