Systems Engineer – Public Sector (Riyadh)

About the role

Fortinet is seeking a Systems Engineer to join its Public Sector team in Riyadh. You will work closely with a sales representative to provide technical expertise throughout the pre‑sales, sales, and post‑sales phases, ensuring customers receive optimal security solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead all technical aspects of the sales cycle for enterprise customers, from RFIs to RFPs/RFQs.
• Manage project timelines and actively participate in proof‑of‑concepts with internal and customer teams.
• Serve as the primary technical point of contact for customers and partners, collaborating closely with the sales partner.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of Fortinet products, competitive landscape, and emerging threats.
• Present solutions through white‑boarding, technical papers, and customer discussions, both remotely and on‑site.
• Track and update customer and prospect technical information in Salesforce CRM.

Required profile

• Strong aptitude for security technologies, especially encryption and authentication.
• Solid understanding of network security, intrusion detection, anti‑virus, routing, switching, LAN and WAN.
• CISSP accreditation is a plus.
• Previous experience in a pre‑sales engineering role, managing end‑to‑end technical deals.
• Demonstrated problem‑solving skills that contributed to key wins.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
