Tech Lead, Android Core Product

About the role

This strategic Android engineering role focuses on shaping the future of a fast‑growing mobile product used by millions worldwide. You will own major features from concept through release while partnering closely with Product, Design, QA, and Engineering teams.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end Android features, defining, building, testing and delivering high‑quality experiences.
• Shape the Android engineering direction through architectural thinking and product‑focused decisions.
• Monitor and improve reliability metrics, proactively addressing technical risks.
• Collaborate across Product, Design, Engineering and QA to align solutions with user needs.
• Review pull requests, provide constructive feedback and uphold high engineering standards.
• Take ownership of critical incidents, driving rapid resolution.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with a strong focus on Android development.
• Proven experience building production‑quality Android applications and familiarity with Android components.
• Hands‑on expertise in Kotlin and modern Android technologies.
• Strong understanding of software architecture, MVVM, Clean Architecture and testing principles.
• Excellent communication, collaboration and user‑oriented problem‑solving skills.
