Telecom / ICT Tender Engineer

About the role

The Telecom / ICT Tender Engineer will lead the preparation and management of tender documents for telecom and ICT projects within alfanar Construction. The role combines technical expertise with team leadership to ensure competitive and compliant bids.

Key responsibilities

• Provide leadership, coaching and direction to sub‑ordinates throughout the tender process.
• Delegate tasks and ensure fair distribution of work to maintain team morale.
• Plan and execute activities to meet operational and development targets according to delivery schedules.
• Utilise resources efficiently to achieve objectives within cost and time constraints.
• Prepare periodic reports detailing deviations and execution of planned tasks.
• Resolve operational issues and escalate complex problems when necessary.
• Develop and enforce quality control processes and specifications for products and services.
• Coordinate written systems, policies and procedures, seeking automation opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality and environmental management procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 5 to 10 years of experience in telecom/ICT tendering or related engineering fields.
• Proven ability to train and manage a team to deliver results.
• Strong analytical and reporting skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office applications.
